The new iPod shuffle seems to be a big hit with consumers, and looks to be a good gift for that teenage family member. Although there is a new drawback to the current design to the 2G iPod Shuffle, (No MALE USB built into the new player) there are some products to help those who miss that feature. But other than that the new iPod has great form factor in that it is really really tiny.
