Well, tomorrow is the big day for all the future Zune fans. Microsoft’s first mp3 player will be released at all major retailers tomorrow. Personally, I am really excited about this player. If features a really gorgeous screen, 30GB of storage, has a great user interface and can actually play songs downloaded from iTunes! I’m still not sure how Microsoft pulled that one off.

As for the usability, the battery can support 14 hours of music and up to 4 hours of video. The screen is a luscious 3.0 inches and can have a vertical or horizontal orientation. Plus, the player has an extra function allowing users to share their music wirelessly with other Zune users in the area. As with anything Microsoft does, the Zune is currently being promoted like crazy. The viral compaigns as well as tv spots have pretty much gotten the word out on what they hope to be the true ‘iPod Killer’. Only time will tell I suppose. Can’t wait till Christmas.
