The upcoming media player from Creative has been revealed in a blurb from a print magazine of all places. Popular Mechanics got the scoop in their latest issue, perhaps in a desperate effort to prove that print media isn’t quite dead yet.

While Creative has been excelling lately with their line of MP3 players, the upcoming Zen Vision: W will expand their line of Zen Vision multi-media players to the widescreen video niche. The standard features of the player include a 30GB and 60GB models with a quality 4.3-in screen, multi-format playability and a CompactFlash card slot for upgrading and transfering media on the go. Initial price points look to be $399 and $499 for the 30GB and 60GB respective flavors. Currently, there doesn’t seem to be any word about the release date, but now that we have confirmed sightings in the wild, look for it coming soon.
