A new slim and sleek player has just been announced as the first in a series of players from Asono. Comparable in size to a credit card, the player sports video playback, picture capability and audio features. The player will be available in 1GB – 4GB flash memory options and boasts a 1.5″ color OLED screen with 15 hours of music playback time. Nothing groundbreaking here, but definitely something to check out.

Also of note is the special offer of having the Scandinavian skateboard movie Neighbours pre-loaded to the player free of charge. Is this a push to market the M1 to the burgeoning skateboard crowd, or an awkward unnecessary marketing ploy. Most likely both.
