The iAudio U2-2G-WH, yet another player named after a seemingly random series of letters and numbers, has just been announced by the top tier electronics company, Cowon.

It boasts a 4-line LCD display, FM tuner/recorder, and BBE/MP sound enhancement. Powered by a lithium polymer electric battery, the player is good for up to 20 hours of continuous use. Supported formats include, MP3, WMA, OGG, and WAV. This player measures 25×18×73.8mm and weighs just 34g.

Cowon’s reputation for making quality digital media players leads us to believe that this flash based device could be another hit. The new iAudio will be out July 7th for a price point of $164USD.
