Sticky iPod Fun!

The Slick skin priced at $6.42 for the ipod nano is probably the best way to keep your brand new iPod whether nano or video nice and sticky! Yes not really protected but sticky. Most of these skins/tattoos/stickers are more harm than good to your ipod. I would not put one of these on my iPod for anything, leading up to the question this week.
jason d. asks the buzz:

“When you take a skin off your ipod/other mp3 player. What is the best way to get
the sticky stuff off of it?”

Eeekk I am so sorry you put a sticker on your iPod or other mp3 device, well I am asuming that you did but maybe it was a good friend of yours lets hope. Anyways to answer your question I went to a couple of different resourses. First is straight from Apples website. They basically say to take a piece of clear adhesive tape and stick it on the ipod gently over and over until it all comes off. I doubt this will work but good luck with it. The second thing I came up with is from the Engadget comments of the site: James says ” It comes off with White Spirit – little bit on a damp cloth and it comes right out – just make sure you wipe it off with a damp cloth after – hope that helps!” and Kal says:”If you want to remove the stickyness without any liquid….get an eraser (those white rectangular ones) and lightly rub the sticky parts. The rubber from the eraser grabs the sticky stuff and wipes right off. I hope this helps.” I like this one you should try it jason d. or his friend. One other site I found with info is Instructables. Dan says: “You can safely remove sticky stuff from the screen with rubbing alcohol on a paper towel or cloth.” I say go with the eraser first. Thanks for the question
Jason D. you got a Free Itunes Song on the way!
