Here is some new word on the Ipod Update here at MP3 Buzz. The rollouth of Apple’s new iPod has been delayed due to some technical issues dealing with the display and touch-screen interface. The word on the streets is also that Apple is waiting to hit up a deal with some of the movie industry enabling the distribution of movies online through the famous itunes. Not really sure what they will be doing with the name. iTunes “the online music store” will move more towards iFlicks “the online movie store”

Sources speaking on condition of anonymity say issues emerged with the technology that have sent Apple and the display’s manufacturer back to the drawing board to find a solution. As such, a more definitive release date is unknown at this time, but sources say Apple expects the new iPod to be ready by calendar Q4, in enough time for the holiday buying season.
