Could this be it? The full screen ipod we have all been wating for? Febuary 28th, Apple will be making an announcement! I really hope this is it. For everyone who got a 5th Gen “Video Ipod” So so sorry if this is the real deal. Those of you who have been waiting patiently to scrap your ipod that you have had for years, now is the chance!

that video with that picture was fake! how can that be the real ipod?
If you check out the pics below they point out some differences in the video picture and the original picture. Worth looking at. Now if the top one is real I don’t know but I do not think that both the video and the picture are from the same person

1) The person who made this vid. coild not do the same feat twice nad get slightly differant results.
2) The picture created couldnt be edited after the vid was made.

This is a tester holding the iPod. he sais it’s a pre-test. testing the video frame rate and how good the quality is. also testing some new codecs like Xvid, Divx, mpeg-4 video in a .pgg format, unprotected WMV. and pitures like RAW, the new JPEG-20 or somenthing like that. lokks like it’s a 500 by 320 pixels. will have a pda-like screen. didin’t gave more info. he says it’s all classified. He is one of twenty tester assigned to test the ipod. Apperantley he got so pissed about the rumors that he wanted to end it all. he says the other picture generated from california and china. He says that pictures like those should not be publised on the webb unless there’s a good reason, or you can get on job probation or fired.How do I know this stuff…hint(look at my name)

i think uve missed the point, the person who made the video is trying to prove its a fake picture and is showing how it was made, hes not saying he made it and thats how he made it, hes showing how the person who made it would have done it… dah?
I just have one question…why is there even a scribble in the picture? A regular photograph wouldn’t have a scribble, would it? Or am I completely missing something? Someone fill me in.

the guy who made the video also made the picture. pay attention to the wrinkles on the cloth under the ipod. they’re the same.

it makes sense that the ipod wont be bigger than a current ipod. so fake or not, its gonna like very similar to that. maybe wiht some side buttons and whatnot.
on the actual serial code it reads MB719Z/A (it is harder to tell on some pics compared to others) but on the video it reads M8719Z/A they made the B an 8 which proves with the other reasons that this video is a fake.

Another interesting observation:
at about 1:15 where he plugs in the dock connector with the Chinese characters on it, look at the second character. See the part that looks like a J with a line through it? notice that the hooked downward stroke has a nice smooth curve on it, while the one from the photograph does not, it goes straight down along the edge of the dock connector.
Also, at 1:11 on the video, notice the diagonal dark patch running behind the ‘foam paper’ as he unpluggs theipod. Notice how it is strangely absent from the image.
Finally, another interesting point, at 1:23, when a majority of the screen displaying the English to Chinese translator is displayed, note that the image of the lcd color test is already on screen, in what appears to be an image editing program.
Conclusion, the only nifty photo shopping done here was on the image of the television, the portion of the ipod photograph with the color test was cut and pasted onto a television to look as if the opposite was achieved. This was the equivalent of a year 10 DAF student’s photoshop assignment, for which he only got a C plus

Also, im pretty sure this video is just showing how they made the photoshopped one, he’s not trying to make it the same because he doesnt need to, just showing off how easy it is to create something like this.
Interesting little tidbit… of nothing really…
On 1:00 of the movie to like :56 it shows him dragging the screen right? well check towards the bottom, he had a flaw and a little spec got caught in the picture and it moved when he moved the black image on the ipod screen and notice the same spot on the “other” fake/real ipod video image….i dont know what this means but its interesting… actually now that i look at it again. its not enough to really notice much…. or maybe it is nothing… owell….
It could be that this video just shows how to make a similar picture, not the actual, so that may be why there are discrepencies.

the video is probably not from the creator of the picture. the creator of the VIDEO was probably exposing the picture as a fraud by showing how this was possible
if you think im wrong, why would you work so hard to make a fake 6G iPod picture, but then later make a video… therefore telling everyone it is a fraud?
the video and the picture are from 2 different people, there is no close relation, just an instructional on how the fraud picture was made. the fact that close examination has been done, therefore thinking that they are from the same person, is stupid.
